Produced by Danish chocolate maker Mikkel Friis-Holm in Lejre, Denmark. This confection represents a collaboration between two historic Danish culinary producers. Friis-Holm sources heritage Stevnsbær sour cherries from the Frederiksdal estate on the island of Lolland, celebrated for its barrel-aged cherry wines and brandies. Whole preserved sour cherries are folded into a brandy-infused fondant creme and enrobed in a crisp shell of single-variety heirloom Johe 70% dark chocolate from Nicaragua.
